Refund and cancellation policy
This policy explains when a pass booked through teronextevents.com can be refunded, how to ask for a refund, and how the money is returned. It forms part of the terms of booking.
Last updated:
1. The short version
- While a booking is held and unpaid, nothing has been charged — let it lapse and the seats return to sale.
- A paid pass is non-refundable if you simply change your mind. It can be transferred to another attendee instead.
- If we cannot issue the pass you paid for, you are refunded in full.
- If the event is cancelled or postponed by the organiser, we publish the revised arrangement and refund paid passes.
2. Before you pay
Booking a pass holds your seats for a limited period. If the payment is not completed in that window, the booking lapses and the seats are released for someone else. No money was taken, so there is nothing to refund.
3. Paid passes
Passes are sold for a specific event with limited seating, so paid passes are non-refundable if you change your mind or cannot attend. Instead, a paid pass can be transferred: contact the ticket desk and we will re-issue the pass to the new attendee's name and phone number. The QR code on the original pass stops working when it is re-issued.
Complimentary passes have no money attached, so there is nothing to refund. They are name-locked and cannot be transferred.
4. When we refund in full
You are refunded in full, without deduction, when the fault is ours:
- Payment was taken but we cannot issue the pass — for example the seats were released before the payment settled.
- You were charged more than once for the same booking.
- You were charged an amount different from the amount quoted on your booking page. We will check the booking and refund anything not owed; if the booking is not confirmed, the whole amount is refunded.
In these cases we refund without you having to ask. If you think one applies to you and you have not heard from us, write to us — see contact below.
5. If the event is cancelled or postponed
The event is presented by the organiser. If the organiser cancels or postpones it, we publish the revised arrangement on the event page and email everyone holding a pass. Paid passes are refunded in full where the event does not go ahead on the published date. A change of programme, artist or timing is not a cancellation, and does not by itself create a refund.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email helpdesk@teronext.com or call
+91 89215 91284, quoting the ticket number from your pass (it
looks like TKT-XXXXX-XXXXX) and the phone number or email you booked with. That is
usually enough for us to find the booking and answer the same day.
7. How the money is returned
Refunds are made through Razorpay, to the same payment method used for the booking — the card, UPI account or bank account it was paid from. We cannot send a refund to a different account. Once we issue it, the money usually reaches you within 5 to 7 working days; your bank or UPI provider can take longer to show it.
8. If you do not recognise a charge
Please contact us before raising it with your bank. Most unfamiliar charges turn out to be a booking under a different name or phone number, and we can explain or refund it faster than a dispute. If you do raise a chargeback, we are asked to provide the booking record, and we will.
